Subline

This line is designed to sink exceptionally quickly. It's more similar to fluorocarbon in that respect, but because it's a monofilament, it retains the properties that make it superior to fluorocarbon in some fishing situations. It's not only heavy but also very supple, making it excellent for slack-line fishing, as it literally hangs limply on your rod tip and follows the contours of anything between you and your hookbait. Furthermore, it still casts incredibly well—far superior to fluorocarbon—and is highly abrasion-resistant with good knot strength. It comes in a choice of tensile strengths—10lb, 12lb, 15lb, and 20lb—so you're always covered, whether you're fishing in open water in the UK or on snag-ridden, big-fish venues in other countries. It's available in SUB Brown and SUB Green on a 1000m spool.
