I am Dimitri Nollet , owner of Discovery Carpline. It all started in my early childhood, where fishing was second nature to me. What once started as adventures in coarse fishing, quickly evolved into the fascination of carp fishing. During my youth I already started experimenting with different raw materials and products. Always looking for ways to improve my fishing experience and catches. It was this passion and determination that led to the creation of Discovery Carpline. Guided by the motto "quality over quantity", I started offering a wide range of high-quality products from boilies to groundbaits, each promising excellent performance on the bank.

My name is Dajo Marly , a passionate fisherman from Beernem, and my love for fishing started at a young age. As a child I spent hours at the water's edge, fascinated by the silent waiting and the excitement of every bite. What once started as a simple childhood hobby, has grown over the years into an indispensable passion that has taken me to all kinds of waters. From quiet park waters to challenging rivers and large lakes, I have cast my rods in various places, always looking for that one unforgettable catch.

My adventures don’t stop at the borders though. The urge to discover new fishing grounds has led me to various destinations, both inside and outside Belgium. I have had the privilege of fishing in different countries, with each location offering its own unique challenges and rewards. For me, fishing is much more than just a sport; it is a way to escape the daily grind, to enjoy nature, and to find a deep sense of peace in the stillness of the water. It is a lifestyle that continually re-energizes me and brings me closer to nature.

In terms of bait, my personal favourites are Creamy Peach, Tigernut Supreme and Milky Cream & Scopex. These flavours and combinations have proven to be effective time and time again, and I rely on them in a variety of conditions and waters. Whether I’m fishing locally or exploring a new water, these baits form the core of my strategy and have resulted in many successful catches.

PETER BECARREN

CARP ANGLER

My name is Peter Becarren and I live in Ingelmunster. Fishing is a passion that I have cherished since I was three years old. It all started when I was a small child fishing for whitefish with my father. Those first moments at the water's edge, where I learned the basics of fishing, left an indelible impression on me. From the age of eight I decided to fully focus on carp fishing, and ever since this fascinating species has held me in its grip.

My fishing adventures take me to all types of waters, from small, quiet park waters and narrow canals to large, heavily fished lakes and vast public waters. I appreciate the diversity and unique challenges that each type of water offers, and I enjoy continually improving my techniques and skills. In addition to recreational fishing, I also enjoy participating in major carp competitions. Here I can really put my experience and passion for carp fishing to the test and measure myself against other dedicated anglers.

One of the things that I get a lot of satisfaction from is helping other anglers. Whether it is sharing tips and techniques or guiding novice anglers, I find it important to pass on my knowledge. The youth in particular are close to my heart, because I strongly believe that they are the future of our fishing industry. I am committed to inspiring and supporting young anglers, so that they can enjoy the sport as much as I do.

In terms of bait, I have developed a few favorites over the years that have always worked well for me. Explosion, Red Fish Spice, and Banocca are my personal top choices. These baits have proven to be effective time and time again, no matter the conditions, and are an essential part of my fishing gear.

ALAIN DE COSTER

CARP ANGLER

I am Alain De Coster, born and raised in Beernem. My passion for fishing started when I was 7, together with my father. Since I was 20, I have fully dedicated myself to carp fishing, which has given me more than 50 years of experience in angling. During that time, I have fished on countless waters, both at home and abroad, with a focus on public waters.

After a medical intervention I was about to give up my beloved hobby and even sell my entire equipment. Fortunately my children convinced me to continue. A few years ago I started again with full conviction.

In the past I rolled my own boilies with Discovery Carpline products, but due to my medical situation I switched to ready-mades. A choice I am still very happy with!

ARIE VERBEKE

KARPERVISSER

Mijn naam is Arie, ik ben 17 jaar en vis al heel mijn leven. Sinds bijna 8 jaar richt ik mij specifiek op de karpervisserij, een passie die door de jaren heen alleen maar groter is geworden. Al 4 jaar vertrouw ik daarbij op de producten van Discovery Carpline.

Mijn persoonlijke favoriete boilies zijn zonder twijfel de Creamy Peach en de Explosion. Twee totaal verschillende smaken waar ik veel vertrouwen in heb en die regelmatig voor mooie resultaten zorgen.

Ik vis vooral op wateren in mijn eigen regio, waar ik graag nieuwe stekken ontdek en mijn aanpak blijf verbeteren. Het observeren van het water en inspelen op de omstandigheden maakt het voor mij extra interessant.

Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar kortere sessies en korte nachtjes. Actief vissen, snel schakelen en het maximale halen uit beperkte tijd geeft mij veel voldoening.

BRIAN BRAKEL

KARPERVISSER

Ik ben Brian Brakel, gepassioneerd karpervisser uit Brugge. Mijn vissersverhaal begon rond mijn zevende levensjaar, toen mijn stiefvader mijn broer en mij meenam om te gaan witvissen en zeevissen. Al snel groeide de interesse naar grotere en sterkere vissen, en samen met mijn beste maat begon ik kleine kanaaltjes en putjes rond Brugge te bevissen op karper.

Na enkele jaren kwam het vissen wat op de achtergrond door het leven en gezin, maar net voor de coronaperiode sloeg de microbe opnieuw toe. Sindsdien ben ik weer volledig gebeten door het karpervissen.

Vandaag vind je mij vooral terug aan grotere kanalen, meren en wateren in binnen- en buitenland. De rust van de natuur, de spanning van een aanbeet en de kracht van de dril blijven mij elke keer opnieuw motiveren.

Er gaan zelden twee weken voorbij zonder een sessie aan het water. Mijn kennis en technieken blijven groeien, mede dankzij de producten van Discovery Carpline. Mijn favorieten zijn de Crazy Onion en Explosion boilies, met de Creamy Peach als sterke wintertopper.
