Shrinks

Crimping is a great way to create neat, strong ties, especially when using stiffer and/or thicker materials that are difficult to tie effectively. It also allows you to achieve the correct hookline length every time, which is especially useful for chod rigs.

These double-threaded heat shrinks are designed for use with various hookline materials, and when used with our crimping tool, they create a connection you can always rely on. Be sure to use a heat shrink that's suitable for your chosen hookline. If the heat shrink is too large, it may slip. The smaller 0.6mm version is perfect for use with materials like Mouth Trap, the 25lb version of Boom, or even stiff coated braided lines like Hyrbid.

The Large 0.7mm Krimp is for really thick materials, such as 35lb Boom or very heavy monofilament. The latest addition to the range, the X-Small 0.5mm version, is perfect for use with 15lb & 20lb Boom, or any other hookline material that is suitable for crimping (should have very little or no stretch) and has a diameter between 0.40mm and 0.50mm. They come in a handy tin with a sliding lid, which helps prevent spillage, with 50 shrink tubes in each pack.
