Carpano
This exceptional protein-rich (without fishmeal!!) carp bait (and bait) is ready and can be used as follows. To obtain a good result, a feeding place should be created approximately 3 to 4 days before the planned fishing day, so that the carp gets to know this as a new food.
The first day throw 15 to 20 balls of about 4 cm diameter. The second day 10 to 15 balls. To maintain the feeding place throw 10 balls Carpano per day and even every two days.
To use Carpano as bait, balls of 3 cm diameter are sufficient. These weigh about 20 grams, balls of 4 cm weigh about 40 grams. These are heavy enough to cast without lead.
Once you are at the feeding spot, carefully tighten the line, position the casting rod so that the tip points straight towards the feeding spot. The bracket of the reel should preferably be open, so that the carp has as little resistance as possible.
With 1 kg of Carpano food you can make 50 balls of 4 cm diameter. So you can calculate yourself how much you need. The best way to moisten Carpano progressively …. A little water…. knead, again a little water…. Knead, until you have obtained the required substance. Not too hard or not too soft.
A ball of Carpan bait does not fall apart and lasts for more than 24 hours. To keep the bait ball on the hook during the cast, it is best to first place a crust of bread, size in relation to the bait ball, in the bend of the hook and then knead the bait ball around it.
TIP: When fishing for very large specimens, you should make both the feed balls and the bait balls larger.
You can also use Carpano perfectly as bait, but keep in mind its binding properties.
