A variation on the standard two-hook rig, but one length of hook is attached to the main line of the rig just above the lead, while the second is positioned higher up on the body, closer to the swivel.
This allows the angler to fish with two types of bait at two different depths, one above the seabed and one directly on the bottom.
Useful for anglers who want to target different species, both bottom feeders and bottom feeders.
